I don’t know what it is about summer, but I always struggle to read the heavy stuff during the warmest months of the year. I’ve been reading a lot of light romances - a surprising number of which have multiple authors, like this review I did earlier this month - and this one fulfilled my need for summer fluff quite nicely.
Today we are celebrating Sally Ride, the first American woman in space! In honor of her awesome achievement, I thought I'd review a book about another woman in science and engineering (although this one is fictional). Earth Bound by Emma Barry and Genevieve Turner is inspired by the women of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and their contributions to the space race - with romance thrown in for good measure.

I know what you’re thinking: “It’s weird to celebrate Administrative Professionals Day by writing about a book that essentially breaks the cardinal rule of being an administrative professional - no workplace relationships!” But I find that office romance novels make it very clear how integral administrative professionals really are for the success of a business.
